Yesterday’s ideas about biking and geocaching went south when we’d discovered that the official bike rental outtlet is still closed for winter (one of the drawbacks of the otherwise excellent time called low season), and the alternative offered by the tourist information rented out to the scoolchildren who swarm the place as a result of Skolmusic festival.

Don’t even try to tell me to go back and check tenses in the previous paragraph.

Anyway, as a resultt, we have gone south too, admiring local wildlife and views all along our way, totalling around 30 km for the day. Järsö natural reserve has not disappointed.

Fresh smoked lax is a saving when after 6 hours the hotel breakfast runs out.

Never seen that many swans in one place.

Not a single bike of those we’ve seen has been chained.

It’s probably a first too that we’ve been in a hurry to make it to Hesburger before they close at 7pm.

The most difficult part was to make it to the hotel (400 m) from there.

A walking man is faster than a walking horse.

They should make a calendar, or postcard, or a set of stamps with local postboxes.

Seen an Uneven road sign. Scanned the road all we could. No sign of reason for it. They should have seen our new roads.
