…cooked on Grease are available as a controversial but noteworthy movie called Across the Universe (2007). They don’t have anything to do with the Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy, but in fact, I think that throwing some Douglas Adams into the mix wouldn’t have hurt it.
The cast people sing themselves, and it’s really nice of them, even if the Beatles did the singing a bit better. The plot’s musical-ish, and does look like Hair at times, but that’s ok. Certain bits are even like the Yellow Submarine, and you’ll notice them easily.
If you’re one for a solid musical experience, this film is for you. Just don’t expect it to be something with or about the Beatles.
