It took me quite some time to write something about the Transformers, mainly because there isn’t much to write about them.
Yes, the effects are great. The robots are cute, and so are the cars. The girl isn’t ugly, nor is the guy. Well, not very, at least. They even say there aren’t any goofs there, but the claim is really hard to believe. The Armageddon joke isn’t bad, and the call center is exceptionally realistic. The dam doesn’t break, however. The dialogues are papier-mache at best. The cast… Maybe the minister can play. Maybe not. Not the rest, that’s for sure. Soundtrack? Hard to remember.
I’d say it was an evening wasted, but for lack of better options, it wasn’t ruined at least.
